    Living Doll

Certainly one of the oddest episodes of this entire series. The guy with the life-like doll is really pretty sick. He can't have normal relationships and lives with this thing. It isn't the disgusting sexual thing--he talks to it an offers advice. He has had normal connections to women who actually like him. But when the team performs surgery on the doll, that's about it.

Secondary to this is the continuation of the Green Card search for Dominika. She and House continue their charade but while they are doing this, House begins to have real feelings for her.

Park starts to develop a relationship with a young musician who is sort of shy and lonely. But mostly the episode is lacking.

Abhorrent and Stupid. Who Wrote This?!?!

I am not easily offended. That said, this is one of the most F'ed up episodes of my very favorite shows of all time. I have a feeling that the writers & producers knew they were circling the drain.

Worth a watch, but the lowest rated ep of the series, according to me...

    • Trivia
House says, "35-year-old male, he cries blood, and he's not Vampire Bill," referring to the TV series True Blood (2008), based on Charlaine Harris' The Southern Vampire Mysteries. Bill Compton is the vampire romantically involved with Sookie. He is closer to humans than many vampires and weeps tears of blood on occasion. Karolina Wydra, who plays House's wife Dominika, later appeared in True Blood as Violet.
    • Goofs
During the conversation in which Dr Adams confronts Henry on the woman he modelled his doll after, his eyes are initially coloured normally, before suddenly becoming jaundiced (yellow) in the next shot, as they would be given his liver failure.
    • Quotes

Dr. Chris Taub: Give the band guy a call.

Dr. Chi Park: I'm not that good at guitar.

Dr. Chris Taub: Or flirting, or small talk.

Dr. Chi Park: I'm not as pretty as Adams, I have stuffy clothes and I hate my hair.

Dr. Chris Taub: Adams works eighty hours a week fixing bunions on hobos because she *can't* face getting to know someone new. Trust me, you find a boyfriend, she'll be the jealous one.
