If you remove SJ Surya, then this is AAA-Part2

RATED 6/10 Language: Tamil Media Partner: Amazon Prime Source: Nil

Director thought, if you put old hits as background you can do any illogical and madness in the screen. Silk scene sequence also similar to that one.

SJ Surya is ultimate in this venture and he saved the whole movie single handedly. Whenever he appears in the screen, it was like fire cracker. All other scenes are so dud and sometimes not bearable too.

The story is OK, the fantasy angle helped lot in movie flow and comic angle. Vishal with that beard and wig, it is total unfit. Especially his climax mannerisms are irritating to the core.

My advice would be, wait for OTT release, so that you will have control in your hand to forward and skip as much as possible.

Mass movie enjoyers will absolutely love the ride!

Although the story becomes a tangled mess in the concluding hour, the journey leading up to that point is a blast; it's vibrant, energetic, and perfect for fanatics of mass entertainment.

There are three key reasons for its 'ranged' success: first, a breezy screenplay that keeps the pace moving without a hitch; second, an impressive array of elevation scenes for the lead cast that shine thanks to the sheer levels of conviction exerted; and third, the dynamic duo of Vishal and SJ Suryah, who slay in their respective characters, especially the latter, who irrefutably dominates every scene he features in.

The film definitely bends physics, logic, and reason, but it is an absolute thrill ride. If you enjoy that kind of over-the-top, 'balls to the walls' approaches, rest assured, you're in for a surprisingly satisfying ride.

Sj Suryah steals the show in this somewhat decent entertainer

After a below average outing with Bagheera,Aadhik Ravichandar returns this time with Mark Antony starring Vishal and SJ Suryah in the lead roles.

Trailers play a big part when it comes to promoting a movie. If the trailers are a hit then the movie gets a hype and a big opening.

Mark Antony benefitted from a superb trailer cut. The trailer was the main reason the movie got big hype before the release.

Coming to the movie, the best thing about it is SJ Suryah. He outperforms everyone on the screen be it villainism or the humour.

Aadhik took an interesting idea and made it entertaining eventhough in someplace especially the songs felt misplaced and loud.

Vishal did his best but in few places, it felt like maybe someone like STR would have been apt for the role.

All in all, It's a decent entertainer with SJ Suryah at his best.

Good review

Not only a comical movie but also entertaining us musically . And engaged with all kinds of audience .. but adhik ravichandar did well.. podu like ah. After you watching this movie you may forgive this director for his last (AAA) Historical film... Don't worry about his past live at present 🎁 sweetest era of this movie.. Happy to see again and again SJ. Surya seeing his best performance in all those films .... Vishal ought to select to make the audiences great attention after this .. we are eagerly waiting for your Thupparivaalan .... Congrats overall team..... Well done Adhik show your magic pursuingly to cinema audience.

Simple yet fascinating take on time travel concept...!!!

Its Sj.suryah delightful presence & his charisma that makes an above average verdict... Director Adhvik finds himself not too serious but being crazy of making a successful commercial soup to save his career, choses a wacky entertainer that makes u forget any logic loop holes while the screenplay is kept brisk pace...keeping us anticipated about something refreshingly surprised... The way Adhvik choses the vivid colors on the screen makes u vibrant with its perfect retro looks, thanks to costume designer contribution while Gv prakash music & bgm remarkable enough to glorify the flick.... Overall a partly entertaining flick that has few surprised elements to make every penny worthy.
