I'm SO disappointed the show has a terrible laugh track. It's like the viewer is too stupid to get the great lines. I don't know if I can continue watching the series.
The actors are super, the lines are great however, listening to the fake loud laughter is beyond bad.
Dump the laugh track! I'm not the only viewer who thinks it's annoying.

This would be a 10 star review if not for the excessive use of the laugh track. Leanne and the rest of the cast are very funny. They seem to go well together. I am hoping for a second season, but please tone down the annoying fake laughs inserted after almost every sentence. The rapport between Leanne Morgan and Kristen Johnston works perfectly.
I just can't handle the laugh track. It might be watchable if it were not for the laugh track. The acting is not great and the writing is bad, but the laugh track is what kills this show. The accents seem fake as well. But again it is the laugh track that kills this show. Why do studios keep using this outdated technology. Fake laughing about a guy dying on a toilet.
To be honest I was not expecting to like this show. I think Leanne is a great comic and the cast and crew involved are solid, but the trailers made it seem like just another run of the mill, overdone sitcom; with predictable plotlines and even more predictable character arcs. However- the first five minutes alone had these ideas completely flipped on their heads. These stereotypes more so serving as a familiarity, a comfort to get you on your feet. You know how it's going to play out, sure, but the way the show conveys the story is fresh and addictive. While I think some episodes could have been cut down (though it is nice to see a 16 episode straight to streaming show!), Leanne is a series I can see myself coming back to when I just need something to laugh about. It may not be the most profound show ever, but its charm and wit are definitely worth the watch.
If you weren't already familiar with Leanne's work as a comic, this series will make you want to be.

I really like Leanne Morgan and am very excited for this show. But I have to complain about the laugh track. I'm probably less than one minute in and upset. I'm giving a 7 for the hopes the laugh track becomes a non issue. I'll update positive or negative once I see more. Sorry for the early words, but I felt compelled. Any show that starts on a streaming network should be devoid of a laugh track. We are so past the 90s.
