The Chicken Sisters series on Hallmark is an absolute gem! From the very first episode, it pulls you in with its small-town charm, warmhearted storytelling, and just the right touch of humor and romance. The family dynamics feel real and relatable-you'll find yourself laughing one moment and tearing up the next.
The cast brings the characters to life beautifully, making you root for them as they navigate rivalry, love, and second chances. The cozy setting and mouthwatering food scenes make it even more irresistible (don't watch on an empty stomach!).
What I love most is that the series has such a perfect balance of heart and lighthearted fun-it's feel-good TV at its finest. If you're looking for something uplifting, wholesome, and a little bit addictive, Chicken Sisters is a must-watch.
Hallmark really knocked it out of the park with this one!

I really don't understand all the hate this show is getting. Maybe its from the people who read the books, I have just accepted TV adaptations will usually never please die hard fans of whatever book series is being made into a show. I for one though had a lot of fun watching the show and find myself eagerly waiting for season two. Don't let the hate scare you off it is a really fun show.
I find the plot to be quite entertaining and the characters to be a really well written. It has some good actors that are time tested and I feel like some of the actors in it make the show even better. All in all a good clean show that is a lot of fun.

I have to admit that I am the only white women in her fifties that has never seen a Hallmark movie or show. I pride myself on that. I raised boys and watched Die Hard and Naked Gun movies. However, I have a church going, God fearing mother who refused to watch family movies unless they were G rated light hearted genres.
I started watching this because I am a big fan of Wendie Malik and Lea Thompson. This was a genuinely nice show, a little hokey but anyone that grew up with a dysfunctional family, been in a relationship where you question the road not taken, will find something in this show to make you smile, laugh and yes Hallmark, bring a freaking tear or two. This show is about friendship, coming of age, dealing with lies, heartbreak, and betrayal. Keep up the good work Hallmark. This is something I will keep watching!

So I am from the south and still live in the south and I find this show to be an accurate, albeit watered down representation. I love the way they poke fun at the south - there's so very much to say π anyone who is upset by this show probably has a confederate flag flying in their front yard. It's a great show!
First - I need to address the reviewers that gave this a low rating: this is not a book. This is a TV series. Move on. Second - this is not your typical Hallmark show and that's OK. It's incredibly warm hearted while showcasing real people and real life issues. I think it was done really well and realistically. Third - I love the casting. I think it was really well casted w/great actors. The storyline is entertaining and brings up more of the history each show to deepen the storyline. I also think the character development was great. I fell in love with the characters. I am looking forward to Season 2!
