There was zero chemistry between anyone. It felt like a coloring book by the numbers. The lead actress is far too thin, and has obvious lip fillers. I try to avoid commenting on actors looks, unless it is distracting. The pretend boyfriend Ted, felt like a community theater actor at best. He could barely keep eye contact with other actors in their scenes. Oddly enough I found that when the main character was hanging out or seen on screen with the older " entertainment mogul", that was the only guy she actually fit as a couple! Those two were more believable than she was with the other two very half hearted love interests. There was something very unlush about this production.
It felt cheap. I am not sure what exactly caused that, lighting? film quality? This did not feel like a Hallmark movie at all. It felt like something from ION or some off brand production company. I know Hallmark is taking movies from other places to fuflill their huge quota of Holiday movies, but I would rather see less movies of a better quality. Finally, this movie had zero Christmas spirit or heart, it was just flat. I did watch the entire movie. I will not review a movie unless I have seen the entire movie.

Unfortunately not every holiday Hallmark movie is a winner. This one...major miss. The lead actress is too young, too thin, and too unbelievable to be an expert in anything let alone a romantic lead. She's too uptight. The male lead would be okay with a different actress and the protagonist ex-girlfriend is a dud and a bad actress. Really, skip this movie. It's flat, not romantic or Christmassy and not up to our Hallmark standard of rom-com expectations.

This may be my least favorite Hallmark movie of all times. At the Starr of the movie Chelsea is overdone. She is a romance expert with tons of bad eye makeup, a pencil thin body in a body hugging low cut dress and a terrible habit of pulling her chin into her neck that makes her a pile of wrinkles. Costars ate fine, story predictable, but her acting is so overdone. It does seem like they try to bring out her worst look, acting, everything. ALMOST finished it but left the last 32 mins and felt I had wasted my time.
I'm less than 5 minutes in and I don't think I can continue much longer. Eating disorders are not to be taken lightly. I wish the African American actress in the blue dress was the main female lead instead. She's gorgeous and looks healthy.

I briefly watched this with my grandmother because she had the Hallmark Channel on. I'm a fan of Drew Seeley obviously because of High School Musical and his singing so I was excited to see him in this. He could've done much better (He is married and now has a child so I get why he wasn't that good. He may be getting tired of acting and singing which I can understand) and the song that he wrote and sang for this movie was mediocre and his acting was just ok. I know this is not Mr. Seeley's Disney days and he's in his mid 30's so this was obviously a change and things can't stay the same. I wouldn't watch this movie again. At least it was something to keep me entertained
I felt like this Hallmark Christmas movie was lacking a bit of Christmas spirit. When he walked into her apartment, he commented on how it was decorated like the North Pole, but honestly it was quite plain, boring and not decorated that much! The storyline was not really specific to Christmas either. I also didn't see much chemistry between the lead characters, but I actually liked the character of Valerie better.
This was a last-minute surprise addition to the lineup of 2018 Hallmark Christmas Movies, and I think it would have been okay to leave it out. Oh well. I'm just glad I wasn't watching it live, so I could fast-forward through the commercials!

Sorry for all the people who worked on this to be writing a negative review. First off the premise is laughable and the chemistry is on the cringy side. I have a problem when the actors won't wear winter appropriate clothes, and when they wear spring appropriate and pretend to shiver I find it hard to pretend to care. As Hallmark Christmas movies go I usually let things slide (like no breath in a cold air scream). Sometimes the story is silly, but the chemistry works. Others have a fill the heart with gladness that elevates the flaws. This one is flat on chemistry story and heart, and it's a shame. I know everyone has different taste and some may love this movie, I have favorites that might not be for others. My one piece of advice for those involved in making this, is it's easier to sell you look cold than feel cold. For those who are going to watch this make it the first in a marathon you'll sleep better.
I think our main couple looked great together and they might have had chemistry, but the storyline allowed them little to no time together to build a believable romantic connection. Having said that, the Christmas sets and decorations were beautiful and there were some nice messages.
Didn't like that the main character was a horrible love advisor. She teaches people to move on for superficial reasons in a relationship. I thought the acting was ok just not the message. I cannot hate a character then quickly like her in the last 30 mins. So main issue is with the storyline.
Oh and the set for her apartment was amazing!
