Very informative and captivating. This documentary sucks the audience in from the very first scene. The cinematography is beautiful and the score did a nice job of setting the tone for the film. The pacing of the story helped the documentary flow nicely and I was totally engrossed in the testimonials of the residents. After watching this, it is clear that this city is so much more than just the northernmost city in the world.

One of the most powerful and moving films I have ever seen period. It's a rare thing to be moved to tears and really feel something after or while watching film, it's almost unheard of to be inspired to take action and lead by the example that the film makes. This movie, which I was lucky enough to see at the NH film festival, inspired me to be more open toward my guy friends and check in on them if they are not doing well. Sometimes as "dudes" or "bros", we lack the confidence to say "I love you man." And I felt like that was what this movie was about: not being afraid to let your friends know that you love them, even if it's hard, which it is hard.

Now, of course, a film can have a great message but it needs more than that. You need to execute the story you want to tell well, so it resonates with your audience. Screenwriter Kyle Matthew Dickinson and director Kieran Thompson displayed perfection while creating this film. There is not a single thing that I would have changed. There were no scenes that felt like "filler" or unneeded, and the cinematography mixed with the film editing was gorgeous. On top of it all, the acting by Emilio, Alex, and Beau was so good that if didn't even seem like they were even acting, but just camping with hidden cameras.

This film checks all the boxes and needs to be seen. I could go on and on about it Becuase I loved it so much but I will spare you. Please watch this movie! This is a story that needs to be told!

We always hear about people losing it all in disasters such as large fires or floods, but we never hear about after the fact. This film explores what happens when those affected by disaster need to live on and rebuild.

It starts off slow, but as the characters begin to develop and the story takes hold, it turns into a beautiful story. I am a fan of films that have a deeper meaning other than the obvious which leaves the viewer to interpret what they feel the movie is trying to say. My interpretation was that our main character, Dusty, was not only trying to rebuild his home following a disaster, but also rebuild his relationship with his daughter and his community.

Josh O'Connor did such a good job playing Dusty and Lily LaTorre stole the show as his daughter, Callie-Rose.
